The gospel galore

In this dispensation normalcy has taken the new order.Things the scripture deems unclean are now remodelled or polished to please the eyes of men. Remember, the bible entreat every believer to stand out or make a difference wherever they find themselves. In Matthew 5:14, Jesus Christ made it known to us that we are the light of the world and a city on a hill cannot be hidden. This shows that we shouldn’t be ashamed of who we are in Christ Jesus .We must allow the Holy Spirit to announce us anywhere we locate ourselves. A believer being a righteous man need not to conform to the standards of the world as Romans 12:2 says .We are to arise and shine anywhere because our light, Jesus Christ has come, died and is alive and there is no need to hide. To Standout is to be highly noticeable or distinguish oneself from certain things. Things that do not agree with the word of God.

Let’s see why Christ made known to us that believers are also light of the world. In John 8:12, Jesus revealed that He is the light of the world and whoever follows Him will have light and never walk in darkness. This made me realise when you accept Christ as your personal saviour ,He becomes your light and salvation indeed (psalm27:1) and He gives unto us the grace and opportunity to carry His light which is the word of God, the word of life to be the light of the world and light to the world for our mankind relationships. As we carry the light of God our path becomes brighter until daylight has come but the wicked fall and cannot see what they have stumbled over (Proverbs 4:18-19). Remember, we are of Christ and not of the world. Let’s look at the lives of Shadrack, Meshach and Abednego and Daniel as well .They stood out in the midst of the crowd .They were never ready to bow to any god apart from the Almighty and their faith made them well. Daniel purposed in his heart and made up his mind never to eat and drink from the royal court (Daniel 1:8)

Daniel and his three friends went on ten days eating vegetables and drinking water. They stood out because they knew whom they were serving and had trusted in. With this purposive behaviour God made them healthier than their colleagues who ate from the royal court (Daniel 1:11-16).

In Daniel 3, Shadrack, Meshach and Abednego could not bow to the gold statue set up by the King Nebuchadnezzar. Whenever you make a move or a decision, remember God is your strength and believe in His promises.

It is expedient to make up your mind to standout and make a difference. Let that light shine so everyone could know who you are and give praise to our God in heaven. As you purpose in your heart and make up your mind ,you renew your mind , you begin to understand the word of God and manifest its glory. Standing out goes with wisdom and integrity not foolishness. If you feed on the word of God at all times it will manifest the integrity imbibed in you. As you Stand out you must still trust in the will of God. For He will never leave you or forsake you for He’s God. Stand out, make a difference and do the right thing at the appropriate time.
